This week I bring you one of my favourite new recipes. Simple vegan cashew cream cheese.
Vegan Cashew Cream CheeseGrowing up I used to love spreading Philadelphia cream cheese on my toast, especially the garlic and herb version. This recipe from Natalie Tamara tastes very similar so I was won over instantly.
It’s also a very simple ‘throw it all in a blender’ recipe. There are many vegan cheese recipes out there but many are difficult to put together. Sometimes the ingredients are difficult to find. Some are 3/4 day process.
This is a very simple recipe that takes 5 minutes to make. Just make sure you soak your cashews overnight!
This cream cheese is great on toast, bagels, crackers, inside wraps, mixed into pasta and even on top of a salad. Give it a go.
Being vegan doesn’t mean you have to miss out on cheese. There are hundreds of vegan cheese recipes out there. Experiment with a few of them and find the right one for you. Vegan cheese has come a long way and they are improving all the time.
